A week ago, Birta and I accompanied Haukur to get a new MOT test for his car. It was the first time i ever gone to one, and the process was quicker than i thought it would be.
After the test, the mechanic will put a new sticker on the license plate, stating when is the next MOT test to be taken.
I personally think that this is a very effective way, to ensure all motor vehicles on the road are actually qualified to be operating.
I can't help thinking about all kinds of motor vehicles operating in Jakarta, especially the public transport ones, eewgh... Should MOT be applied as a law in Jakarta, it should start on the public transport before the personal vehicles.
